Workin' hard...
Both my mom (the seamstress) and I are working hard on new things to put up. We're almost ready for our reopening, but I'm waiting to receive our new hair clip display cards so I can retake pictures of the clips. Ma is working on a brand new blanket as we speak, and I'm really hoping she'll have some pinafore dresses made soon. I also just made a new hair clip for Fourth of July that I can't wait to list.
Unfortunately, I am too tired to be witty. :)

We're so excited! And we just can't hide it!

We just listed one of the new items coming out of the sewing room!
It's an achingly cute Paper Family blanket and burp set. Backed with chenille, supersoft, cuter than a baby bunny...and made with love. :)

It's been a busy week
...but we've got new stuff coming this week.
I couldn't decide if we should wait until we have a boatload of new stuff to list before declaring an official "reopening" of the store, or if I should just tweak what's in there, refine our profile and policy, and add in a couple of other new things so that we can do it earlier. I'm still a bit torn, but for time contraints I think we'll have to do the few new things for now. I'm really excited though-I hope everyone likes our new stuff. I've seen some of the new fabric, and there's some really cute items that are being made as I type. Michael Miller's Paper Family is part of our new stash, and we can't wait to play with it.
I hope you all like it as much as we do. :)

Well, hello there....
This is our first blog, and I'm not sure what to write...so much pressure!
This blog is set up to accompany the etsy store of the same name (BellsiesBooties, for those in the back of the class) and is meant to keep anyone who interested updated on the pieces we are making and the process involved in making them.
Right now, we have some gift tags and hair clips waiting for pictures to be taken of them, so that we can list them in the store. Things are taking a little longer than usual because we are trying to reopen the store exactly the way we want it, so the picture taking and posting is taking a little longer than it did before.
Plus, we are down one computer, which just complicates the process.
At the same time, we've got lots of new fabric, new patterns, and new ideas, and you should see tons of new stuff listed, looking pretty and ready to purchase in the next couple of weeks.
